1. Who runs Mira

Mira is an independent product currently operated by an individual creator, not yet incorporated as a separate legal entity. Throughout this policy, "Mira," "we," "us," and "our" refer to that operator and the Mira service available at mymira.studio.

Mira is built for user-generated content (UGC) creators to track brand work, manage earnings, and present a professional Media Kit. This policy explains what data we collect from you, why we collect it, what we do with it, and how you can control it.

2. What information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you sign up and use Mira, you choose what to share. This typically includes:

Information collected automatically

When you use Mira, we automatically collect basic technical information needed to operate the service: your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit on Mira, timestamps of activity, and similar standard log data.

Information from connected services

If you choose to connect a third-party service (such as Gmail), we collect data from that service only as you authorize. The Gmail connection is described in detail in the next section.

3. How we handle your Gmail data

Mira's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Mira offers an optional Gmail integration to help you automatically detect brand pitches in your inbox so you don't miss potential work. This connection is fully optional — you can use every other feature of Mira without it.

What we access

When you connect your Gmail account, you grant Mira read-only access (the gmail.readonly scope) to your messages. We use this access exclusively to:

What we do not do

How to disconnect Gmail

You can disconnect Gmail from Mira at any time from your account settings. You can also revoke Mira's access directly through your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete any stored Gmail authentication tokens immediately and any extracted pitch summaries within 30 days, unless you've already saved them as jobs in your Mira account.

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect only to operate, maintain, and improve Mira. Specifically:

We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral targeting, or to train artificial intelligence models.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

Service providers

We work with a small number of trusted infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf and only as needed to operate Mira:

Each provider is bound by their own data processing terms, and we share with them only what is necessary for them to provide their service.

Public Media Kit

Information you choose to display on your public Media Kit (e.g., at mymira.studio/yourusername) is, by definition, public. You control which fields appear publicly through visibility toggles in the Media Kit editor. If you mark your Media Kit as private, only you can view it.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by valid legal process, such as a subpoena or court order, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.

Business transfers

If Mira is ever merged, acquired, or sold, your information may transfer to the new owner. We will notify you in advance and you will have the opportunity to delete your data before any transfer takes effect.

6. Where your data lives

Your account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, primarily in data centers located in the United States. The Mira website is served by Netlify's content delivery network. Your data is protected in transit by HTTPS and at rest by industry-standard encryption.

No system is perfectly secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly and in accordance with applicable law.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account settings. For requests we can't fulfill through the app, contact us at privacy@mymira.studio and we'll respond within 30 days.

8. How to delete your data

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion permanently removes your profile, jobs, earnings, portfolio links, and Media Kit. If you've connected Gmail, deletion also revokes Mira's Gmail access and removes any stored pitch summaries.

If you'd prefer to email a deletion request rather than do it yourself, write to privacy@mymira.studio from the email address associated with your account, and we'll process it within 30 days.

Some information may be retained in backups for a short period after deletion, and we may retain limited records as required by law (for example, payment-related records for tax purposes).

Inactive accounts

If you don't log in for 12 consecutive months, we'll send a warning email to the address on your account. If you don't log in within 30 days of that email, we'll delete your account and associated data, subject to the same retention exceptions noted above (legal records and short-term backups).

9. Children's privacy

Mira is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@mymira.studio and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as Mira evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you by email or through the app. Your continued use of Mira after a change means you accept the updated policy.

11. Contact
