1. The agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Mira (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") when you use the Mira service available at mymira.studio (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you've read these Terms and agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Mira.

You also agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Mira account. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this minimum age and that you can form a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.

Account information

When you sign up, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep that information up to date. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, please tell us right away at privacy@mymira.studio.

One person, one account

Mira accounts are intended for individual creators. Please don't share your account or create multiple accounts to circumvent any limits.

3. Acceptable use

While using Mira, you agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your content

What you own

You keep full ownership of everything you create or upload to Mira — your profile information, jobs, earnings records, portfolio links, photos, and Media Kit content. We don't claim any ownership of your content.

The license you grant us

To run the Service, we need permission to display, store, and process your content. You grant Mira a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit the content you provide, solely for the purpose of operating Mira and providing it to you. This license ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except to the extent we're required to retain it for legal or backup reasons.

Public Media Kits

If you choose to make your Media Kit public, the information you've marked visible will be accessible to anyone with the URL. You control which fields appear publicly through the visibility toggles in the editor. You can switch your Media Kit to private at any time.

Your responsibility

You're solely responsible for your content and for making sure you have the right to upload, display, and use it. Don't post things you don't have rights to — for example, photos taken by others, copyrighted images, or someone else's brand assets without permission.

5. Third-party connections

Mira lets you connect to third-party services (such as Gmail) to enhance the Service. When you connect a third-party service:

6. Fees and paid plans

Mira currently offers a free tier (Mira Starter) and may, in the future, offer paid plans (such as Mira Pro). If and when paid features are introduced:

Payment processing is handled by a third-party processor (such as Stripe), and your payment information is governed by their terms and privacy policy.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep Mira available, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. From time to time, the Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, third-party outages, or factors outside our control. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. When we make significant changes, we'll do our best to give advance notice.

8. Termination

By you

You can stop using Mira and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.

By us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your account is inactive for an extended period, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us to legal or security risk. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and an opportunity to address the issue. In cases of serious violations or security threats, we may act without notice.

What survives

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses you've granted to host your data while it remains stored, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnities, and dispute-resolution provisions — will continue to apply after your account ends.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mira disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We don't warrant the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service, including pitch detection from Gmail.

Mira is a tool to help you organize your work — it's not a replacement for your own judgment. You're responsible for verifying brand pitches, evaluating opportunities, recording your earnings accurately for tax purposes, and reviewing any contracts you sign with brands.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Mira be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, or goodwill, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limits may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mira and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to first contact us at privacy@mymira.studio to try to resolve the dispute informally. We'll do the same.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as Mira evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you by email or through the app. If you continue to use Mira after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree to the updated Terms, your remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.
